About the Artist, Rikako KAWAUCHI
Born in 1990 in Tokyo, currently lives and works in Tokyo. Graduated from Tama Art University with the Master’s degree in 2017. Her recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition “Something held and brushed” (2017, Tokyo Myoan Gallery, Tokyo), group exhibition “Museum of Together“ (2017, SPIRAL, Tokyo), solo exhibition “NEWoMan Art wall Vol.7: Rikako KAWAUCHI” (2017, NEWoMan ART wall, JR Shinjuku Station, Tokyo), Solo exhibition “ART TAIPEI 2016 – WAITINGROOM solo booth” (2016, Taipei World Trade Center, Taipei, Taiwan). She also received the Kenjiro HOSAKA Award at the “1st CAF Award” exhibition (2014, Tabloid Gallery, Tokyo) and Shiseido Art Egg Award at the “SHISEIDO ART EGG Vol.9: Go down the throat” (2015, Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo).

About the Artist, Naho KAWABE
Born in 1976 in Fukuoka, currently lives and works in Germany and Japan. She graduated from Musashino Art University in 1999 and University of Fine Arts of Hamburg with MFA degree in 2006. Her recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition “The Children of Icarus” (WAITINGROOM, Tokyo, 2017), a solo exhibition “delikatelinien” (Ermekeilkaserne, Bonn, Germany, 2016), group exhibition “The Material of Memory” (Frise, Hamburg, Germany, 2016), “Lifestyle” (Westwerk, Hamburg, German, 2016), group exhibition, ”IN SEARCH OF CRITICAL IMAGINATION” (Fukuoka Art Museum, Fukuoka, 2014), solo exhibition “piece, piece (with Jane Brucker)” (Port Gallery T, Osaka, 2014), solo exhibition “Observer Effect” (Galerie du Tableau, Marseille, France, 2013), solo exhibition “Shiseido Art Egg / Open Secret” (Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo, 2011) and many others both in Japan and abroad.

About the Artist, Saori MIYAKE
Born in 1975 in Gifu, currently lives and works in Osaka. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts with the Master’s Degree in 2000. Her recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition “THE MISSING SHADE 3” (WAITINGROOM, Tokyo, 2018), group exhibition “20thDOMANI / THE ART OF TOMORROW” (The National Art Center, Tokyo, 2018), group exhibition “The Riddle of Art: Takahashi Collection” (Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art, Shizuoka, 2017), “ArtMeets04 Koichi TABATA / Saori MIYAKE” (Arts Maebashi Gallery 1, Gunma, 2017), group exhibition “La métis du renard et du poulpe” (CABANE GEORGINA, France, 2016), solo exhibition “THE MISSING SHADE” (FUKUGAN GALLERY, Osaka, 2015), “HER NAME IS ABSTRA” (DAIDO-SOUKO, Kyoto, 2012) and many others. She has received several awards including The Kyoto Prefecture Culture Prize for Effort in 2016, Sakuya-konohana award in 2013, VOCA Prize in 2010. Her works are included in several public collections such as Kyoto City University of Arts, MONT BLANC, Takahashi Collection and many others.
